David Edmonson Wins a 2nd Place Award & Fourteen Accolades of Excellence in the 2008 Awards of Excellence 16x20 Print Competition

 
David Edmonson of Plano, TX, has received special honors in the WEDDING & PORTRAIT
PHOTOGRAPHERS INTERNATIONAL (WPPI) 2008 Awards of Excellence 16x20 Print Competition.  Designed to recognize outstanding photographers, the judging was held in Las Vegas, NV on March 15 and 16, 2008.

Edmonson's winning print, "Reflection" received Second Place in the Advertising / Fashion category.

 

"Tramonto de Venezia" received an Accolade of Excellence in the Bride and Groom Together category. "Unveiling" received an Accolade of Excellence in the Bride or Groom Alone category.  "Everyone's Invited!" received an Accolade of Excellence in the Bridal Party category.  "Young Love" received an Accolade of Excellence in the Engagement category.  "When I Grow Up" received an Accolade of Excellence in the Wedding Photojournalism category.  "Dove In Flight" received an Accolade of Excellence in the Animals / Pets category.  "Monica" received an Accolade of Excellence in the Glamour category.  "First Light" & "Wyoming Road" each received an Accolade of Excellence in the Scientific /
Industrial category.  "Grand Canyon" & "Istanbul" each received an Accolade of Excellence in the Landscape / Nature category.  "Namaste", "Giardino di Mona Lisa" & "Baci" each received an Accolade of Excellence in the Premier Image category.

 

Edmonson competed against an international field of photographers to win such honors.

The Awards of Excellence 16x20 Print Competition awards are presented each year at the largest trade show, educational platform and convention in the United States for professional photographers. The 2008 competition included 2653 prints in 19 different categories submitted by photographers from all over the world.
